A Sunday at Terindah Estate on the Bellarine Peninsula

June 12, 2017

There’s nothing quite like getting out of the city for a day of wine, cheese and sailin’ the high seas (okay… sailin’ Port Melbourne). I was lucky enough to spend a recent Sunday with three friends at Terindah Estate. We long-lunched in The Shed and then mosied (moseyed?) on our way to The Deck, Terindah’s newest addition to their beautiful estate.

Terindah brings together award-winning wines, fantastic food and spectacular views across Port Phillip Bay and boasts one of the best views on the Bellarine Peninsula. The venue is stunning, modern and bright and airy with industrial beams and beautiful wooden decks wrapping around the cellar door looking over lush vineyards and sweeping ocean views.  If you are up for an adventure, catch the Port Phillip Ferry to Port Arlington Pier. Terindah is part of the Bellarine Peninsula Winery Shuttle service so as we got off the Ferry a shuttle bus was ready and waiting to take us to the winery. We were tres excited.

It was so tasty I would have been completely satisfied with the rose, oysters and bread. But this is a food blog, so of course there was more food. Continue Reading

Epic Pasta at Fratelli Fresh

Melbourne wasn't exactly in need of another Italian restaurant serving up pizza and pasta, but Fratelli Fresh was welcomed with open arms because well.. we like our pasta. A lot.

Oldies but goodies
